Autumn update 2025
With all our programmes back in full swing, here’s a quick update on what we’ve been up to!
News from Gymnastics for All
Our Gymnastics for All programme started back in September, covering everything from pre-school, recreational, inclusion and more.
This term our focus is on our Richmond Attainment Awards giving gymnasts the opportunity to try out Olympic equipment; from bars to beam, floor & vault as well as individual skills and acrobatics. The awards are designed to be challenging but with achievable goals to develop and progress at the gymnast’s pace of learning.
Towards the end of the term, we are also hosting our annual Tumbling Championships on 6th December for those in Years 3 to 8+.
Prep sessions are also available during the October half term. These friendly competitions are a great opportunity for gymnasts to highlight their skills in front of an audience, boosting confidence and self esteem.
Also running in October half term, are our spook-tacular daily holiday camps for those in Reception – Year 6. A chance to try new skills, make new friends and have fun!
We’re also running our Stay & Play pre-school session on Monday 27th October from 10am to 11.30am. Join us with your little one, explore our fabulous gym together and connect with likeminded parents.

RGA Display Team News
Out of all our programmes, it was the RGA Display Teams that were first into their new season, with both the London Festival of Gymnastics and Gymnastique Magnifique taking place on the same weekend. Huge well done to all the gymnasts and thank you to all the coaches and support team behind the scenes!
RGA Display Team performed at Gymnastique Magnifique in Disneyland Paris
Performing on stage at Disneyland Paris, the RGA Display Team had a fairy tale gymnastics experience!
Twenty four gymnasts from our RGA Display Team set off to Paris in October to perform at one of the top gymnastics festivals at Disneyland, showcasing their skills, flair and group choreography.
With opportunities to perform as well as enjoy all that Disneyland has to offer, the team had a fantastic time in Paris.
RGA Display Team at the London Festival of Gymnastics
On the other side of London, the RGA Display Team were also taking part at the annual London Gymnastics Festival.
With the crowd-pleasing CandyMan routine, our Display Team performed so well in front of a large audience.
They showcased both individual and group skills, with some inflatable candy canes thrown in (literally!) for good measure.
Acro News
As we said goodbye to our legendary senior partnerships in the Summer, a new generation of acrobats and partnerships are now in the gym and training hard for the 2025-26 competition season.
First up is the Acro London League, held at RGA towards the end of October, it’s a friendly competition league between London based clubs for our youngest squad members.
The following week, our other Acro squads will be at the Mike Walker Invitational in Southampton.

Floor & Vault News
Our Floor & Vault squads are also busy preparing for their new competition season, starting off with an in-house ‘control’ competition in half term. This is in preparation for their first competition of the season; the Sapphire Pitstone Halloween competition early in November followed by the GfA Floor & Vault Grade & Regional later on in the month.
We wish them all the very best of luck! Especially for the Sapphire Pitstone competition where our gymnasts will be competing on not only Floor & Vault but also Bars, Beam and Pommel!
