Our Acrobats chosen to represent Great Britain
Gymnasts from Richmond Gymnastics are delighted to be selected to represent Great Britain at the Age Group and European Championships in Luxembourg from 10th-20th April 2025.
RGA are delighted to announce the following gymnasts who will be flying the flag and competing in the European Championships from 16th to 20th April:
- Michaela Cook (26), Amber Harvey (24), Chiara Linden (17) – Senior Women’s Group
- Louis Alexander (19), Freddie Turner (20), Rex Booth (19) & Samuel Ditchburn (18) – Senior Men’s Group
- Toby Cooper-Driver (18) & Leela Ramini (14) – Senior Mixed Pair
Also flying the Union Jack and competing in the Junior & Age Group Championships from 10th – 14th April are:
- Christoph Tilroe (17) & Louisa Szalacsi (14) – 12-18 Age Group, Mixed Pair
Melanie Sanders, RGA’s Head of Acrobatics said, “We are thrilled to see our gymnasts being recognised for their hard work and commitment with this selection to represent Great Britain at the Europeans. It is an honour we truely value.”
She continued, “It is also the first time we have three partnerships competing at the highest Senior level internationally, and we take great pride in their commitment and dedication, balancing training with work or studies.”

Chiara (17), who moved from another club last year, is competing internationally with RGA for the first time as top of the Senior Women’s Group. She commented, “I’m really excited to be representing Great Britain and I can’t wait to go to Luxembourg with Team GB and Team Richmond!”

Louisa (14) said, “I’m so happy to be representing Great Britain again, as I really enjoyed the experience at the World Championships last year.”


Rex (19), a seasoned competitor, and the reigning 2024 British Champion and 2023 European Champion, commented, “We’re excited to compete and are focussed on our skills and routines. We’re also looking forward to going altogether and representing Richmond as a strong unit within Team GB.”
Melanie concluded, “We anticipate a challenging yet enjoyable European Championships and strongly encourage our gymnasts to enjoy this experience.”
