An after-school recreational gymnastics programme
RGA Centre gymnastics
Good to know
- A structured after-school recreational gymnastics programme for children 4+ years in full time education. Delivered at the RGA Centre in Kew and across the Richmond Borough at various locations (details further below).
- Classes cater for mixed abilities and are organised by year groups.
- Children with additional needs may join a mainstream class with support. More information here
- Gymnasts follow the BG Proficiency Award Scheme, the Richmond Award Scheme and compete in Club-level Events.
- Gymnasts train for one hour per week during term time.
Subject to change due to Covid-19:
- The week before the end of term is usually Watching Week for parents and family (see Term Dates for confirmed dates).
- The last week of each term is ‘teddy bear’ week.
- Gymnasts may bring a teddy to gym with a £1+ donation. As a registered charity, all funds raised are invested into the gym.

Gymnasts wear the RGA kit consisting of leotard (shorts optional) or RGA T-shirt and shorts, with bare feet.

For safety reasons, jewellery may not be worn when participating in gymnastics activities
- We are unable to offer catch up classes for missed sessions.
- Invoices for the following term are emailed to parents each half term.
- Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable.
Satellite Centre gymnastics
Good to Know
- Gymnasts follow the same programme as those at the RGA Centre.
- As RGA Centre gymnastics but at various locations across the London Borough of Richmond.
NOTE: You do not have to attend the school in order to be able to attend the after school gymnastics class.

Leisure Centre gymnastics

Gymnasts follow the same programme as those at the RGA centre.

We provide coaches to run Borough classes at four Leisure Centres.

Gymnasts are not members of RGA and must enrol via the leisure centres.

- We are unable to offer catch up classes for missed sessions.
- Enrolment for these classes is through the individual Leisure Centres.
